The Ledger
No editions sold yet
The house opened on 12 October 2026. The first copy of any piece will be number 01 of 25, and it will appear here with its size and the date it sold. How the numbers are kept
Every sale is a payment at Stripe tagged with the piece. When a payment clears, the copy takes the next number for that piece, in the order the payments were made, and the number is written onto the payment and onto the order the lab packs. This page reads those payments. It shows the date, the piece, the number and the size, and it never shows who bought.
At 25 numbers sold or retired, a piece closes and the buy button comes down. A refunded number is struck, marked retired and never sold again, so an edition can close at fewer than 25. If two people pay for the last copy in the same minute, the later payment is held, refunded in full, and never numbered past 25. Each piece page shows its twenty-five numbers under the picture, struck as they go.
